The Vines is a charming, spacious Victorian terraced house that’s been fully refurbished and freshly decorated throughout, while still keeping many original period features. It offers cozy, homely accommodation perfect for a family or group of six. The house is set up for five guests but can sleep up to seven if extra guests are happy to use the sofa bed.  

Step inside and you’ll find a bright dining area at the front of the house, complete with a glass table and six chairs. Off the dining room is a generous living space with a smart TV offering apps like BBC iPlayer and Netflix, plus a selection of board games and books. It’s the ideal spot to unwind by the working fireplace, and the sofa easily converts into a comfy double bed if needed.  

The well-equipped kitchen comes fully stocked with everything you need to cook, along with those handy extras like tea towels, cloths, washing-up liquid, and bin liners.  

 

Up the quirky spiral staircase to the second floor (note: not suitable for small children) are two spacious bedrooms with luxurious king-size beds, blackout blinds, and plenty of storage. A third smaller bedroom has a single bed and wardrobe. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided for your stay.  

The brand-new modern bathroom features a deep bath, large walk-in shower, toilet, sink, and heated towel rail. Outside, there’s free on-street permit parking for one car.  

Ebor Place, over a century old, has been lovingly maintained and decorated to a high standard while keeping many original features that give it a quaint, homely charm. It offers warm, comfortable accommodation ideal for families or groups of 4–6 guests, and it’s perfect for those with a four-legged friend as it’s pet-friendly.

Upon entering, you’ll find a light, airy open-plan living and dining area—plenty of space to enjoy family meals, picnics, or takeaways together. Please note, the staircase leading from the dining room is steep due to the home’s age and style.

The cosy living room at the front of the house features comfy seating, an HD smart TV with streaming services like Netflix, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The sofa can be converted into a comfortable double bed for extra guests if needed.

The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare even the largest meals.

Upstairs, the spacious master bedroom boasts a luxurious super king-size bed, side tables, wardrobe, and dressing table. The second bedroom is smaller, with luxury twin beds—perfect for kids’ sleepovers—and an extra TV with Amazon Fire Stick. There’s also a brand-new family bathroom with a large walk-in shower, with towels provided for all guests.

Outside, a private enclosed courtyard offers outdoor seating in a safe, relaxing space.

Step inside Victoria House to discover a perfect blend of traditional Victorian charm and modern comfort, adorned in classic William Morris style. Rustic furnishings and elegant decor create a warm, inviting atmosphere in this beautifully renovated period home. The original Minton tiled entrance hall opens to a stylish living room with a traditional marble Victorian fireplace, flat-screen TV, and plush sofas.

An open-plan kitchen and dining area boasts Siemens smart appliances, solid marble worktops, Quooker taps, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and fridge/freezer—offering plenty of space for shared meals.

Outside, a south-facing patio with comfortable furniture is ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks under the stars.

Upstairs, three tastefully designed bedrooms feature smart TVs, USB ports, and luxurious William Morris bedding. The master bedroom includes an elegant en-suite with a large walk-in shower, king-sized bed, and ample storage, while the other two bedrooms share a spacious family bathroom with a roll-top bathtub, walk-in shower, and traditional Victorian fixtures.

The property also offers free private parking for up to three cars and an EV charging point.

Please Note: Quiet hours between 10pm and 8am, we live in a quiet residential street and like to keep the neighbours happy. Parties, gatherings, and functions of any kind are strictly prohibited in the property. We do not host stag or hen parties for this reason.
